Twingly: RAD! Real-Time Blogosphere-Watching Gadget

A colleague sent this link out to our "cool toys" alias at work. It's a blogosphere monitor. It is, really, quite cool-looking. You can install it as a screensaver and feel the blogosphere rushing by! Check out this video:

Is it useful? In a word, no. But who cares--it's cool-looking. It actually reminds me of an art piece I saw a few years ago here in Seattle that projected worldwide chat text in real-time on a huge wall. As with that art piece, which I can't remember the name of now, the Twingly effect is what's attractive--you get the sense of human activity on a global scale, here superimposed on a globe, and in the art piece as a giant textual script rushing past.

Anyone else see that art piece? What the heck was it called?
